BALTIMORE, MD. (Wednesday, August 28, 2024) – Today, the Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services in collaboration with the Baltimore City Continuum of Care (CoC) is now accepting proposals for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Continuum of Care Builds (CoCBuilds) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
According to HUD, this opportunity aims to “address and reduce persons experiencing homelessness by adding new units of supportive housing (PSH) through new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation through one-time CoCBuilds awards unpermanentder the CoC Program.”
Eligible applicants including nonprofit organizations, public housing authorities, and state and local governments are encouraged to apply and register to attend the Bidder’s Conference that will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Please carefully review the official CoCBuilds NOFO for additional eligibility requirements, and note that HUD will only review CoCBuilds project applications that are submitted by CoC-designated collaborative applicants, of which are expected to provide both supportive services and property management services if selected.
Proposals will be accepted from now until Friday, October 18, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Respondents must submit one (1) PDF electronic copy of the proposal and all required documentation to BaltimorePSH@lesardevelopment.com.
