What We Do

The Office of the Labor Commissioner (OLC) represents the Mayor in handling labor relations activities between the City of Baltimore and the labor unions representing City employees.

Mission

The OLC works with managers, supervisors, union leadership and their members, to encourage good labor relations in the City.  Our key  values of , teamwork, employee success, and achieving positive results are an important part of labor relations management.  As part of our labor relations activities, we partner with the Mayor's Office to support the Mayor’s initiatives.
