The BCRP Permits Team is excited to accept and issue 2024 Spring and Summer athletic permits for the upcoming season which will span April 1-August 31, 2024.
Please use this link: 2024 Spring/Summer Applications to apply for your permits. Any fields that are not requested via permit application by the deadlines below will roll into the public, first-come, first-served submissions that will begin on December 4, 2023.
Please follow the schedule below for your submission:
- November 13th – November 24th for schools and youth to apply for any athletic fields.
- November 25th - December 2nd for historical applicants to apply for any athletic fields.
- December 4th for all others to apply for any athletic fields.
We are eager to have you utilize our athletic spaces and are excited to announce some of the new changes to be implemented starting November 2023. Please take the time to review a few new athletic policies below:
- There will be a non-refundable application fee of $10.00 for all athletic field permits. Any requests received within a two-week time frame will incur an additional rush permit fee of $20.
- Game and Practice schedules should be submitted as soon as possible, but no later than 21 days prior to the start of your reservation. Applications are considered incomplete if not included.
- *Youth Only: In the note section of the permit application, please provide a schedule of all games that you are requesting field lining for. If this information is not provided, we cannot guarantee lining for your games. *
- All invoices must be paid in full no later than 21 days prior to the start of the reservation. Any invoices not paid will be opened for first come, first served requests. Permits will not be issued until all required documents (Game and practice schedule, State issued driver’s license, and liability insurance) and payments have been received. You must also pay any outstanding balances on your account in order to receive a permit.
- Liability insurance must be in the coverage amount of $1,000,000, and the following MUST be stated within the “Description Box:”
"The Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, the Department of Recreation & Parks and employees of the City of Baltimore are named as additional insured for (Name/League Name) on (Policy beginning date- Policy ending date) to be held at (All BCRP Parks).”
- To better service all Baltimore City residents and allow everyone equal opportunity, we will reset historical field usage starting Spring/Summer 2025.
