The Right of Way Services Division does important things for our city's streets and sidewalks. We give out special permits for events like festivals, races, and concerts. We also give licenses to street vendors, like food trucks.

Special Events Permitting & Street Vending Licenses

If you're a street vendor, like a food truck, this group can give you the green light and a license. We also give out special permits for events like festivals, block parties, races, concerts, parades, pub crawls and more.

Minor Privilege

This group handles permits and rules for things that stick out into public areas, like signs, awnings, and outdoor seating. Get in touch with them at 410-396-3346 or email MinorPrivilege@BaltimoreCity.gov. 

Right of Way

If you need permission for various things in public spaces, like fixing a driveway or setting up a crane, these are the people to talk to. Call them at 410-396-4508 or email Row.Permit.Documents@BaltimoreCity.gov

Land Conveyance

They deal with records of city rights of way and help when streets need to be wider, or utilities need to be set up. You can reach them at 410-396-GATE (4283) or email Alley.Gating@BaltimoreCity.gov

This team takes care of property records, addresses, and maps. They handle things like changing street names, making sure maps are correct, and more. You can contact them for different property-related questions using the phone numbers and email addresses provided.
