Every year, OEM coordinates an interagency program of training and exercises to enhance and test the City’s preparedness. Exercises cover a variety of scenarios and range in scale from discussion-based (tabletop) simulations to full-scale field exercises.
OEM partners with other City, State, and Federal agencies, as well as private and non-profit sector organizations, to design and execute exercise scenarios. Recent exercise venues include MTA Metro stations, M&T Bank Stadium, and Oriole Park.
