BALTIMORE, MD (Tuesday, September 10, 2024) - Today, the Small Business Resource Center kicked off its 2024 speaker series entitled Candid Conversations for Entrepreneurs. This series features industry experts that provide a wealth of knowledge in areas like finance, legal, accounting, marketing, insurance and more. These sessions are more advanced and target existing and emerging businesses in operation for 2 years or more. Sessions will run every Tuesday from 10a-11:30a through November 19th, with exceptions on October 22nd and November 5th (Election Day).
"Our 2024 speaker series is designed around how do we take those small businesses that are up and running (they're beyond the proof of concept stage) and now they're growing their businesses and how do we make sure that they start concentrating on wealth creation," said Paul Taylor, Executive Director of The Small Business Resource Center. "We're very happy to have some of the great speakers that are coming in to talk about not just accounting, but how do you create wealth through your accounting systems? Not just about where to go to get financing, but how does this serve you as you go out to create wealth. That's the impetus of the seminars that we're having right now."
Today's speaker was Robert Fulton Dashiell, Esq. whose session was titled Legal Resources Available for Wealth Creation and Strategic Growth - As A Wealth Creation Strategy, Why Does Minority/Women's Business Enterprise Certification Matter? Here's a list of upcoming sessions in the series:
